HOW DO I GET THERE?

Bing in the New Year takes place at the Milwaukie Farmers Market parking lot along Main Street between Jackson & Harrison streets. We are just 15 minutes from downtown Portland. 

The event site is directly across the street from the Milwaukie TriMet bus transit center and is easily accessible by several bus lines. It’s also just three blocks (0.3-mile) from the Milwaukie/Main Light Rail stop on the MAX Orange Line.

Free TriMet park and ride lots are available at the SE Tacoma/Johnson Creek and SE Park stations on the MAX Orange Line. Each lot is just one MAX stop from the Milwaukie/Main Light Rail station. TriMet is free to ride after 8 p.m. on New Year's Eve.

Bike racks are available at the event site near the corner of Main and Jackson streets.

CAN I BRING MY DOG?

Well-behaved pets on leashes are welcome to attend this outdoor event. There are no fireworks, but there will be loud drumming and other noises.

You can find free street parking throughout downtown Milwaukie. We have also contacted local business owners and are adding private lots where free event parking will be available to this Google map below. Look for cherry parking signs the night of the event.
